ORDER NOTES. Please read below before placing an order!

  1. LEAD TIME (estimate):  Up to 10 working days. This could be extended during busy periods or delay caused by incorrect order information. Lead time excludes delivery time.
  2. UV printed NFC cards can’t be laminated. For a laminate finish, please see our other custom printed NFC card products HERE.
  3. We do a simple flight check before printing your card to check for any possible issues. However, we do not proof your artwork.
  4. Need a preview? Send us an email with your order number. We’ll send a proof before printing your card.
  5. Ink droplets residue is visible on the side of the card.
  6. Check your application does not exceed the memory capacity of the NXP NTAG216 chip.
  7. Please read the product description and view product images thoroughly. Our system does not allow for a preview of your product including any customisation.
  8. To avoid production delays, we strongly recommend following our artwork guidelines.
  9. We work on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) order schedule for stock and custom orders. We don’t expedite orders base on your time constraint. This keeps our ordering system fair for everybody. Please get in touch before placing an order that is less than our estimated lead time.
  10. Double check you have all the order requirements you need filled out such as programming. We make what you order. If requirements such as programming are not filled out, we do not program the NFC chip.
  11. A phone must have NFC and is turned on to use this tag.
  12. Depending on use, cosmetic damage such as scratches, abrasions and material wear will show overtime.
  13. We take extra care in making your tag, however, we can’t entirely avoid minor imperfections caused during the handling process.
  14. Colours may look different when viewed on different device display.
  15. We work with a print variance of up to 1.5mm. This means your artwork may shift up to 1.5mm to the left, right, top or bottom when printing on the acrylic plate. Avoid graphics suchs as thin lines or borders on the edges.

UV Custom Printed NFC Card

This custom printed NFC card is UV printed. It has vibrant colours. The card has a different look and feel compared to our cards printed with a retransfer card printer.

Your artwork is printed using Roland True Rich Color Standard profile.

Print Method

UV Pigment Ink

What is this? It’s a printing process that drops pigment ink onto the card’s surface.

UV Print or Retransfer Card Print

What's the difference?

  • Dye sublimation uses heat to transfer the artwork into the substrate (think PVC card)
  • UV print drops pigment ink onto the substrate.
  • Retransfer printed card can be laminated.
  • UV ink printed card can’t be laminated

Our subjective opinion between retransfer card printing and UV printed cards?

  • For the best durability, go with RCP because a laminate can be applied
  • We find UV printed cards look and feel different in terms of colour and feel

Artwork Guidelines

  • Artwork Size: 88 x 56mm. This includes a 1mm bleed all around. Do not include printers or crop marks.
  • Actual Card size: 85.5x54mm
  • Safe printing space:  82.50 x 51.00mm. We recommend keeping important graphics and text within this space.
  • Scale: 1:1
  • Resolution: Minimum 300dpi
  • Colour Format: RGB or CMYK
  • File Formats: JPG, TIFF and PDF. NO PNG or other formats accepted.

Designs To Avoid

  • Borders at and/or near the edges because of printing variance.

NFC & QR Codes

Combine NFC tap and QR code scan technology for a richer customer experience. There is no additional cost for printing QR codes. Just include it in your design.
